We distribute WATER PURIFICATION BUCKET KITS to many homes located along the Amazon River, where clean drinking water is scarce. Each kit is $30 and contributes to our enduring goal to provide 500 water kits each year—a total of $15,000 a year! Help us share the gift of clean water, and the “living water” that is Jesus Christ.
The HOPE RIDERS ministry was launched in August 2025 and operates out of a local church in Manaus, Brazil. Since it’s inception, 51 people impacted by it’s outreach have prayed to receive Christ, and many of those are now being discipled and attend a local church. Plans for 2026 include motorcycle washes, free oil and filter changes, as well as free fuel fill ups. We are now raising support for these events and to cover the this new ministry’s ongoing expenses—the total need for 2026 is $4,000.
Project (Root) Raizes provides that education through teaching basic subjects, as well as the Bible. The cost to fund a classroom of 20 students is $600 for the year, which includes the teacher’s salary, books, school supplies, snacks, and a backpack for each student. For $30 you can become a partner and sponsor a student for one year. As of 2025, Project Raizes has over 100 classes in villages along the river. Partner with us in 2026 as we aim to add 6 new classes. Pray with us for the $3,600 needed for this goal.
The ICE BOAT operates in areas where locals fish along the Amazon River. Twice a month it goes out to share ice, water, and snacks with those fishing, along with the “good news” of Jesus Christ. Through this ministry, many have been prayed for and encouraged. The operating cost each month is $250 to cover fuel for the boat, bags for ice, containers of gasoline, water bottles, snacks, Bibles, and discipleship materials.
We have planted one church in the village of Santa Maria along the Amazon River and have a vision for planting two more over the next two years. It takes $20,000 to establish a new church along the River. This amount includes the building cost, fixtures, bathrooms, a generator, Bibles, discipleship materials, and financial support for a pastor for the first year.
We are now using TREASURE SOLAR AUDIO BIBLE PLAYERS. This great ministry tool has the entire Bible in the Portuguese language and will be used in our outreach and discipleship ministry among the indigenous people groups deep within the Amazon River basin. Each Solar Audio Bible Player with earphones is $35. Help us share the “good news” of Jesus Christ and place God’s word in the hands of many people living along the Amazon River.
Four times a year, the HA ESPERANCA boat becomes a CONVOY OF HOPE as it ventures to villages on the Amazon River to carry out ministry in these hard to reach areas. Our ministry teams provide medical and dental care, medicine, physical therapy, children’s ministry, conduct home visits, and host services to share the gospel message. Since starting these trips in 2021, we have seen over 700 individuals pray to accept Christ. Each of these trips cost $1,800 to cover fuel for the Ha Esperanca, medicine, medical and dental supplies, food bags, children’s ministry supplies, food and water for the teams, Bibles, and discipleship materials.
Our DROUGHT RELIEF PROJECT provides food, medicine, fuel, and a water purification kit for families living in areas of the Amazon River that are heavily impacted by the annual drought season. Our Santarem team travels during the months of September and October when the river is at it’s lowest level to help people who cannot get out due to these conditions. This humanitarian ministry opens up a great opportunity to share Christ with those impacted. Each trip costs $500 and provides aid for several families.
The FOOD BAG project provides food and special items for families living along the river. Each bag costs $20 and will last a family one month.
Our BIBLE AND BALL project provides soccer clinics for children. It is an evangelistic outreach reaching many children for Christ! An E-soccer ball and Bible costs $30.
